Hello and Welcome!

My name is Lynn and this is my blog.  I am from Alberta Canada. I am in my 63rd year on this planet. I went to the University of Alberta some years ago now and have a degree in Education. I started out teaching elementary school and as life can do…morphed into a buyer for our family business. I have experience public speaking, planning and setting up a Christmas shop with forty decorated trees, and riding an elephant among other things. I come from a big family. I grew up on a farm and my parents are still on that farm, not so very far from where I live now. Our kids and grand kids are all within in a twenty-minute driving radius, and I know that is a blessing beyond measure.  I like to play in my studio (It was once my office and now it’s my studio and I’m getting so much better at saying that). I love to read. I love the theatre. I write a little. I’ve had a couple of poems published. I do not enjoy cooking but I do it, and I’m not bad at it. I’d rather do laundry and no more than once a week thanks. I like gardening and going for walks. I’m not much for exercise though I do take fits at it because I know it’s very good for me.  My husband and I enjoy traveling. I am curious by nature. I’m interested in what is going on in the world…though lately it’s a bit hard to take. I am really enjoying writing this blog. I feel like I’ve found my niche.
